Category Archives: Destination Weddings

I do accept a select number of destination weddings a year; I have my cameras and passport ready for travel worldwide. (I do not charge for my travels for a few reasons; send me an inquiry about your wedding plans and I’ll explain why!) For all local Portland weddings, please visit my friends at ANIKO Productions … They’re wonderful!!!

I am a Portland-based film photographer who specializes in boudoir and family portrait photography. My blog is intended to help clients get the most out of their boudoir or family photo sessions with me and to provide expert advice to other photographers as well. I welcome questions, comments, and suggestions about my blog. I am also happy to share my blog with other bloggers, particularly those dealing with professional boudoir and portrait photography, travel or any combination thereof.

Eleah & Travis’ Sweet and Elegant Wedding Photos

It was a mix of summer and fall weather when Eleah and Travis exchanged wedding vows in front of their friends and family on their sister’s beautiful property in Salem. Among the guest list was their adorable dog named Herbie! Seriously, how cute is he in Travis’ “vintage” bow tie that Travis worn himself when he was a little toddler!?? (See Part 1 for more images from their wedding.)

Foggy Beach Engagement Photos at the Oregon Coast

There were tons of people on the beach on this day for Kieu & Alex’s beach engagement photos at Haystack Rock, their favorite beach. But, we could barely see anyone or the popular Haystack Rock on the Oregon Coast … We did, however, get beautiful soft white light due to all the fog. Which turned out to be the best natural reflector.

Miami Wedding Pictures with Jeanette & Finley

This past December, I joined about a dozen talented photographers in Miami, Florida for an awesome workshop all about shooting film, FILM IS NOT DEAD: Miami. There were many models that we photographed at the mansion … These were taken on my Canon EOS3 & Portra 400 film, developed at Walmart (not recommended).
