Fate works strangely. Yes, it does. Sometimes we can quickly grasp why things happen the way they do. And sometimes we just don't realize it until much later, like when you're at a dinner party with the perfect guy, who you keep looking at all night. But, there's only one problem ... Tina is the kind of girl who knows exactly what she wants, from gummy bears straight down to her shoes and they only go on her feet -- not the gummy bears. When she saw him at a mutual friend's birthday dinner party, she made every excuse to walk by him again and again ... She walked by him when she needed more food ... She walked by him again when she needed more napkins ... Then again when she needed more utensils. "I kept making excuses -- to just look at him!" she said.

When Tina and her date finally left the restaurant, she quickly texted her friend for the scoop on this other guy -- yeah, the one who wasn't her date. To her delight, her friend relayed the message from this other guy; he thought she was beautiful. Yep, all that walking back and forth definitely got his attention! One day while at work, Tina texted her friend about her gummy bears craving. Shortly thereafter, that other guy showed up at her work with her favorite gummy bears. His name is Thanh.

"He knows me TOO well to NOT propose out of the blue." So after four years of dating, Thanh took Tina ring shopping and told her that she could choose whatever she wanted. Like a kid in a candy store, Tina was in heaven. Who would've thought that this started with gummy bears? Oh yeah, and being on a date with some other guy.
